artadvisory, based in Lugano and London, was established in 2000 by Diego Cassina and Marco Frignati.

Diego Cassina combines an extensive knowledge of the Old Master and Contemporary Art markets. He has curated for the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice and was Director of Sotheby’s Lugano from 1992 through 2000.

Marco Frignati began his career at Sotheby’s London in 1996. He is a specialist of 19th and 20th Century Art
he has developed, with his Sotheby's department, the very successful theme sales like The Italian Sale, The Orientalist Sale and the Russian Sale.



We provide our clients with valuations and appraisals of single works of art or an entire collection, consulting each time the most respected scholars and experts in the various fields and periods.

Our clients span from private collectors to private and public galleries and investment funds whom we advise in selling or acquiring of works of art through  private sales or at auctions, always in the most strict confidentiality and at the best conditions.
